Lanyon Software Suite
Project Description
Lanyon's event software suite provides all the tools needed to manage and run a successful conference or event. This includes everything from registration of attendees to onsite checkin, session access control, badge printing and setup, attendee schedules, meetings, speaker resources, exhibitor floor setup and registration and lead generation..
My Role
As a lead UI designer and developer over several accounts my responsibilities are widespread. I design, customize and build new and custom experiences based on client requests for several enterprise level clients. I take my designs from concept and wireframes (if necessary) to a complete working released product. I use Javascript, Html and CSS on a daily basis, as well as Photoshop and often times Illustrator.
Project Overview
Our base products are carefully built and designed using agile methodology and done in sprints. Fine tuned and ready for immediate use, however we do offer the ability to customize, extend or add functionality to our software suite. Working in project services has allowed me to work in teams of Business analysts, Project Managers and backend / Java developers to build new functionality into our base product.
Project examples
Each of the base applications can be branded and customized or extended to meet the needs of our clients. Below are a few examples of some branding and customizations that I've done while working in on lanyon's UI project team
Surveys are often used at the end of sessions, I designed and created an responsive design that could be used across all platforms, and used in our mobile app.
I created several badge templates in illustrator used for pre-print card stock. I then adapted these designs to build several html based templates that assist in printing badges onsite at the event. This is an example of one of many that I built.
