Sundance Film Institute
Project Description
The team I worked on was responsible for all web and UI development. Most of our time was spent keeping the site up to date with current news and information about movies, actors, directors and special events. We also prepared, published and released time sensitive materials via email. We designed and built email templates, and prepared media for web consumption.
My Role
I was the primary web designer and coordinator for the Sundance Film Institute, while there I designed and prepared media for web use and email delivery. I maintained and updated the website daily with new content and media. I built several email templates used for mass email drops about the upcoming events and films. To maintain uniformity and compatibility I test each template with all major web and email clients.
Email Template
This was one of the email templates I built while there. Each year they completely revise and rebrand the entire festival and release a fairly strict style guide that must be followed. I created several email templates around this current guide that year that were used in sending festival goers updates to movies, general information or other specific event details.
Web Maintenance
I built out several templates used to quickly update the site with stories, new movie details and updates to the festival. I prepared pictures, structured stories and content that were aligned with the style guide. I also designed a few new icons that were used across the website
